Abstract

In this study, a bibliometric analysis was done to identify the effective strategies of medium and small companies during the market recession. To obtain data and find research gaps in the literature, articles published in the Web of Science database between 1992 and 2024 were selected in this field. Systematic bibliometric review was done with VOSviewer software and R programming language. This research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative research in terms of method. Five main clusters were identified in the vocabulary co-occurrence analysis section, Which includes: cluster 1) business growth models in the record. Cluster 2) Innovation performance of companies in recession. Cluster 3) Consumption strategy during recession. Cluster 4) The efficiency of companies during a recession. Cluster 5) Research and development strategy of companies in recession. Based on the results, the two constructs of economic growth and recession are among the constructs of the forecasting sector. For context structure, research and development, innovation, and risk were introduced. Strategies are part of the structure of decisions, and company performance is part of the structure of results.
