Investigating the Impact of Social Capital on the Utilization of International Business Opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of social capital on the exploitation of international business opportunities of small and medium enterprises. For this purpose, among 189 members of Iran's Comprehensive Industrial Commerce System, 118 companies that were required for the characteristics were selected as a comprehensive statistical package. According to the Morgan table, 92 companies were selected as sample population of the study, which were in the interval A total of 97 questionnaires were distributed the master managers for research purposes. Using structural equation modeling approach and using Smart pls software, the research hypotheses were evaluated. Research findings show that social capital in a specific market and social capital at the international level has a direct and positive effect on the enjoyment of business opportunities. On the other hand, social capital at the international level on social capital in a particular market Has a positive and significant effect. Also, the factors affecting the use of business opportunities with a coefficient of 0.027 have the ability to predict 3% of dependent variable variations, exploiting business opportunities, and factors affecting social capital at the domestic market level with a coefficient of determination of 0.469 predecessor The nose has a 46% change in the dependent variable of social capital at the domestic market level.
