The development of strategic awareness in startup companies plays a crucial role in their continuous performance improvement. However, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction with the development process remains a fundamental challenge for these companies, particularly in the early stages of their operations. Startup managers face significant risks in this regard. This study aims to identify stakeholder expectations regarding the skills required for startup managers and to propose a comprehensive model. In the qualitative phase, the research utilized the constructivist grounded theory approach (Charmaz method) for data analysis. To this end, 15 experts in the field of information technology startups were interviewed, and the coding process was conducted in two stages: initial and focused coding. After identifying the essential managerial skills needed for developing strategic awareness from the stakeholders' perspective, the relationships among these skills were analyzed using the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method in the quantitative phase. Additionally, 11 experts reviewed and categorized these relationships. To assess the influence and dependency of the identified skills, MICMAC analysis was employed. Ultimately, the proposed model was developed to enhance startup managers' skills in fostering strategic awareness, with a specific focus on stakeholder expectations.
